Haiti
Today I am praying for the people of Haiti, and for Carole Comeau - a missionary who lives in Port-au-Prince. She was at our school just 1 week ago to accept the money our school raised to provide Haitian families with goats. Praying that she is safe and can get through to her family very soon. I am also praying that God will show us, as the body of Christ and as Americans, what we can do to help the people of Haiti. Economically times may be tough in America, but Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the entire world. Compared to the people of Haiti, every American is wealthy. We should be willing to sacrifice whatever we can to help these people - that doesn't have to mean millions of dollars or even hundreds of dollars. Above all, the best thing we can do for Haiti is to pray. So, to anyone who may read this blog, I encourage you to pray that God will use this tragedy for His glory. That many Haitians will be drawn to Him through these events. That miracles would happen in Haiti that leave no doubt to the people that God is present in that country.
